The fuel tanks on ZJs are particularly vulnerable to trail damage; they hang low and seem to be a target for rocks and other trail obstacles. Keep that tank protected and secure with one of Rusty’s Trail Tested Fuel Tank Skid Plate! Built of 3/16″ thick steel that has been laser-cut and CNC formed for a precise fit, Rusty’s skid plate encases the bottom and sides of the tank for total protection. The plate also bolts to the Jeep’s unibody; none of that factory strap-style mounting here! It even comes in a durable black powder coated finish. All of the hardware needed is included.

The skid is guaranteed to work with the factory hitch. Other hitches will work with modifications to the hitch bracket.
