Controlling axle wrap is very important when building a flexy leaf spring suspension system. The rear axle pinion will climb under load, and in extreme situations this can lead to broken driveshafts and broken axle parts.

Rusty’s now offers a clean, professional-looking way to attach your custom traction bar to the rear axle. This mount is constructed from beefy 1/4″ thick laser-cut steel and includes 9/16″ mounting holes. There is 8″ of separation between the bolt holes, and the mount has a radius to accommodate 2-5/8″ to 2-7/8″ diameter axle tubes. Please note that a traction bar is not included, and that welding is required for installation.
